Community Space [Tsubakimori Komuna]

Community Space [Tsubakimori Komuna]

A method for the effective utilization of idle land by sharing spaces for neighborhoods and local cultures and businesses. We converted the ruins of homestead woodlands near Chiba station into a community space by building various purposes and designs for movable tiny houses made from existing trees and waste materials from other buildings on site. Once the utilization of the idle land was decided, these movable items were able to be reused in the next idle land plot. Any neighbors could organize events to transmit the local culture. It’s not a transient project but it is possible to keep permanence while changing places.
